This spoolbase strengthens our ability to meet the growing demand for deepwater and ultra-deepwater rigid pipeline installations. The facility includes line pipe storage and handling, stalking and reeling support of pipelines from 6 to 16 inches. Adaptable station assignments are optimized for project specific welding, non-destructive testing and field joint coating requirements.
 

Gulfport, USA

Positioned directly on the Mississippi coastline, the port is competitively located to serve the growing subsea rigid reel pipelay markets in the Gulf of Mexico. The new 50-acre facility features a pipe receipt and storage area, warehouse, fabrication building, 3,000-foot stalk rack and a dedicated quayside to accommodate McDermott’s fleet of specialized vessels for offshore transportation and installation.
