For more than 30 years McDermott has served the offshore floating production market with process and topsides design, construction, transportation, installation and hook-up services for all floating structures, including ship shapes, semi-submersibles, and spars.
McDermott has participated in the fixed offshore production market since its inception, having installed the first fixed platform made out of steel in 20 feet of water in the Gulf of Mexico for Superior Oil in 1947.
McDermott provides pipelay services as well as production manifolds, riser structures and attendant hardware for subsea field development. McDermott also provides installation and hook-up services for all subsea equipment from the wellhead to the floating or fixed tieback structure.
