Rob Shaul is Senior Vice President, Low Carbon Solutions (LCS) for McDermott.
In this role, Rob leads the company’s execution of low-carbon projects, including the integration of emission-reduction methods into traditional energy infrastructure projects, such as eLNG.
Since 2019, Rob has served as the company’s Executive Project Director for the Mozambique LNG project, one of the most complex projects in McDermott’s portfolio. He brings more than 30 years of experience to his current role, having managed all aspects of onshore project execution, including engineering, construction and project delivery roles on major projects in areas such as gas-to-liquid, LNG, refineries, petrochemicals and high-speed railways. He joined CB&I, McDermott’s storage business line, in 2014.
Prior to McDermott, Rob worked for Shell and Bechtel and started his career with Foster Wheeler in 1989. He has broad international experience, having worked in several countries including Indonesia, US, Netherlands, Qatar, Japan and Italy.
Rob holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Portsmouth Polytechnic and a master’s degree in project management from Cranfield School of Management. He is also a graduate of the advanced leadership program at Rice University.
