Vaseem Khan currently serves as Senior Vice President, Chief Commercial Officer of McDermott.

Vaseem oversees commercial activities, including business development, client engagement, bid governance, and strategic partnerships. Vaseem plays a key role in shaping and executing commercial strategies that drive long-term growth, promote disciplined opportunity pursuit, and enhance the company’s competitive market position.

Vaseem has over 35 years of experience in engineering, construction and project delivery, and has held positions in onshore and offshore engineering, site and completions management, project management and regional operations in several countries.

During his ten years with McDermott, Vaseem has held leadership positions including Global Head of Engineering and Commissioning; Vice President Operations Performance and Digital; and Senior Vice President Global Operations for the company. Prior to McDermott, Vaseem was the Managing Director and Regional Senior Vice President of Middle East operations with Technip (now Technip Energies).

Vaseem holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Minnesota where his post graduate research was in heat transfer and fluid mechanics. He also attended an international business management program at Royal Holloway College, London.
