Summary
CLECO selected McDermott to provide engineering, procurement, construction, startup and commissioning services for the Coal Fluidized Bed (CFB) addition at the Rodemacher Station brownfields site located near Boyce, Louisiana. The project also required site preparation, material handling, ash landfill preparation, underground and foundation work at the 2 x 330 MW power plant. Our scope of work included the erection of the concrete chimney, pre-engineered buildings, and specialty services such as coatings. The high-energy piping systems were provided by McDermott’s Sunland fabrication facility, and the BOP structural steel was provided by McDermott’s SPS Fabricators.
