Chevron Lummus Global Announces Multi-Technology Award in Kazakhstan for Lube Base Oil Plant

Richmond, CA – June 12, 2017 – Chevron Lummus Global (CLG) today announced it has been awarded a contract by TOO Hill Resources (HILL) for the license and engineering design of a grassroots Lube Base Oil plant in Shymkent, Kazakhstan. The plant will use CLG’s proprietary ISOCRACKING, ISODEWAXING, ISOFINISHING and Solvent Deasphalting technologies for the production of high-quality Group II and III base oils, as well as clean fuels.
