At CB&I Storage Solutions, our commitment to the safety and well-being of our employees is evident in the strides we take to achieve zero lost time incidents across our global organization. In fact, our fabrication facilities have executed millions of work hours without a lost time incident.
We are recognized repeatedly by the industry and our customers for our safety leadership. For example, divisions of CB&I Storage Solutions received the 2020 Safety Diamond Club Award, 2020 Safety Award of Excellence and 2020 Safety Award of Achievement from the Steel Tank Institute/Steel Plate Fabricators Association (STI/SPFA).
Ensuring Quality Across the Organization
The CB&I Storage Solutions Management System (CMS) ensures the consistency and quality of our products and services by serving as a baseline for planning, execution, measuring, monitoring and continually improving the performance of all we do. CMS governs how we execute work across our worldwide organization and ensures every project meets applicable regulatory requirements while meeting or exceeding the expectations of our customers.
Reducing Our Impact on the Environment
We are committed to reducing the impact of our operations on the environment while using materials and resources efficiently to prevent pollution and minimize waste. Currently, CB&I Storage Solutions is embarking on a goal of zero waste-to-landfill for our offices around the globe, while continuing our efforts to reduce landfill waste from our projects, fabrication facilities and logistic sites. With approximately 50% of waste generated by operations diverted from landfills, environmental professionals at our company are continuing to find more innovative solutions to divert even more waste in the years ahead.
