This service is necessary to ensure plant operability and reliability for the life of the field. When it becomes necessary to upgrade the plant or de-bottleneck the process train, McDermott expertise is available for re-engineering work and to act in the capacity of Technical Authority for ensuring the desired modifications do not produce unintended consequences.

We understand the critical operating requirements to deliver successful, safe and cost-efficient facilities that respect the environment. Being involved in facility design and construction from a project’s inception, our personnel can remediate issues that may occur during production. Their familiarity with the facility design and construction and commissioning of plant equipment allows for efficient repair planning. Through our brownfield engineering expertise we offer solutions to extend facility production with minimal interruption for operators who are focused on ways to extend the lifespan of their existing facilities and address ways to maintain or enhance existing production.
