Recruitment Process

The following information will assist you in applying online for vacancies listed on this website via the “Search worldwide Jobs” link. Also see specific information by selecting Experienced Hires, Students & Graduates, or Craft & Crew from the “Careers” menu, right.

Applying Online – Atlantic Region
 
 
  • Complete your online registration or sign-in.
  • First-time users can create a personal account, which enables you to maintain an up-to-date resume/CV, build a skills profile and create job search agents.
  • Complete the questionnaire.
  • Click “Submit” to complete the process.

Applying Online – Other Regions
 
 
  • Click “Apply for this job” at the end of a job description and an email template will open with the “To” and “Subject” fields filled in.
  • Add your resume/CV as an attachment only, not in the body of the email.
  • Also attach a cover letter, if desired.
  • Click “Send.”

Selection Process
 
 
  • Applications are reviewed to identify candidates with qualifications meeting the criteria outlined in the job posting.
  • Due to the volume of applicants, we will contact you only if you are granted an interview - usually conducted by phone or email first.
  • Qualified candidates are interviewed further and may be asked to demonstrate their knowledge, skills, competencies and other position-related requirements.
  • All decisions are based on merit factors, including past work performance and employment references.
  • If you are selected, the recruiter will contact you to make a verbal offer. This will be followed up by a written offer letter which will explain the next steps, including our pre-employment process.
  • After pre-employment screening, a start date will be finalized.
