Corporate Social Responsibility
McDermott was named a runner-up for the International Pipeline & Offshore Contractors Association (IPLOCA) inaugural Corporate Social Responsibility Award in recognition of the social investments and activities through our Asia Pacific region’s Batam International Charity, Batam Island, Indonesia.

Health & Safety
McDermott was also runner-up for the IPLOCA Chevron-sponsored 2011 Health and Safety Award in recognition of our Middle East region’s Zero Hand Injury Campaign in reducing and minimizing the severity of hand injuries 2009-2010.

Quality Gold
At the International Quality Summit 2011 Convention, the Business Initiative Directives Gold Quality Award was presented to McDermott in recognition of peer companies nominating our Middle East region for our exemplary “Commitment to Quality.”

Safety Gold
ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Malaysia presented its Contractor Safety Excellence Gold Award to McDermott for the Asia Pacific region’s outstanding performance on the Guntong B pipeline replacement project in 2009.

Corporate Social Responsibility
Quality Achievement Shell presented its Quality Achievement Award for McDermott Middle East work on the Pearl GTL project, based on a comprehensive review of system performance and adequacy by an external audit team.

Safety Gold
ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Malaysia presented its Contractor Safety Excellence Gold Award to McDermott for safe completion of installation for the Guntong C pipeline replacement project offshore Malaysia in 2008.

Outstanding Safety Performance
Maersk Oil Qatar presented the Outstanding Safety Performance Award to McDermott for completing 3 million man hours without a lost time incident on the Al Shaheen Block 5 Field Development project involving engineering, procurement, construction, installation, hook-up and pre-commissioning of two wellhead platform topside modules.

Health & Safety
McDermott received the International Pipeline & Offshore Contractors Association (IPLOCA) Chevron-sponsored 2009 Health & Safety Award in recognition of our HSES Intranet. Specific strengths cited were added value, management commitment, staff involvement, forward-looking and efficiency.

Safety Appreciation
Woodside Energy, of Australia, presented a Certificate of Appreciation to McDermott in recognition of our Batam Island, Indonesia, team achieving 1 million man hours without a lost time incident on the North Rankin B project, and in support of the project’s “No injuries, No incidents” goal.

Best Safety
PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Ltd presented McDermott with its Best Safety Award for work by our Asia Pacific team on the Arthit Central Processing Platform project, which included float-over installation by our newly modified Intermac-650 launch barge.

Health & Safety
McDermott was a runner-up for the International Pipeline & Offshore Contractors Association (IPLOCA) 2008 Chevron-sponsored Health and Safety Award in recognition of the effectiveness and efficiency of our Accident/Incident Investigation Program.

Environmental Achievement
McDermott received the International Pipeline & Offshore Contractors Association 2008 Shell-sponsored Environmental Award in recognition of significant efforts in spill prevention and control, and waste management that contributed to reducing the environmental impact of pipeline construction.

Diving Safety
BP presented an award to McDermott Captain for exceptional safety leadership that resulted in three months of diving operations without a recordable incident during the Azeri Chirag Gunashli and Shah Deniz pipelines projects in the Caspian Sea.

 

Safety Milestone
Dolphin Energy, Ltd. presented its Outstanding Safety award to McDermott for the Middle East region’s completion of 3 million man hours without a lost time incident, from June 2004 through August 2006 on the Qatar North Field Offshore Platforms and Associated Facilities EPCI project.

President’s Award
BP Azerbaijan presented its President's Award to McDermott for safe completion of 500 saturation dives during the Shah Deniz pipelines project in the Caspian Sea.

Safety Milestone
MAERSK Oil Qatar presented McDermott with the Outstanding Safety Performance Award for completing 2 million man hours without a Lost Time Incident on the Al Shaheen Block 5 Field Development EPCI project.

President’s AwardConstruction
BP-Azerbaijan presented its President’s Award to the McDermott Central Azeri Topsides Fabrication team upon sailaway for “working together on getting HSE right.”

President’s Award-Pipelay
BP/Azerbaijan International Operating Company presented its President’s Award to McDermott for completing 10 million man hours of pipelay work on the Azeri Chirag Gunashli and Shah Deniz pipelines projects without a recordable injury.

Outstanding Safety Performance
Maersk Oil Qatar presented its Outstanding Safety Performance Award to McDermott in recognition of the Middle East construction operations working 1 million man hours without a Lost Time Incident on the Al Shaheen Block 5 Field Development EPCI project.

President’s Award
BP/Azerbaijan International Operating Company presented its President’s Award to McDermott in recognition of the Caspian region achieving 7 million man hours without a lost time incident on the 17,000-ton East Azeri Topsides Fabrication project.

HSE Awards
BP presented two HSE Awards to McDermott for successful preparation and execution of the HSE Assurance Program, and for completing 2 million man hours without a Lost Time Incident on the Azeri Chirag Gunashli Offshore Facilities project in the Caspian Sea.

BP/Azerbaijan International Operating Company presented individual and team President’s Awards to McDermott in recognition of exceptional safety performance on the Azeri Chirag Gunashli Full field Development-Phase I Pipelines project offshore Caspian Sea.
